Why Our Guests Love Our Heated Pool

We began providing a heated pool for our guests beginning with the 2005 rental season. Here is the real benefit for our guests. We pick up the first $200 of cost to heat the pool just like we have done each season since 2005. Because of rapidly wildly fluctuating gas prices in the last few years, our management company recommended setting a fixed price for the heated pool for 2009 and in 2010. After consulting with them and the gas company on expected gas price increases, we set the weekly cost at $500. We will be picking up the first $200 of the cost to heat the pool in 2012. So the net cost for each week will be $300 for our guests. Our goal is to cover most of the cost for our guests. Now some of you may not think that $300 is practically free but compared to the rates other houses are charging - this is a terrific benefit for our guests. This special rate is available from the beginning of the season in March through the second week of June and again from the last week of August until the end of October. Best of all – we didn’t increase our rates to cover the cost of our program so our guests are getting the full benefit. What Else is New for 2012

Our goal is to continually upgrade our home so our guests get the best value possible. Here are some of the new amenities already in place for 2011:

We installed a new Flat Screen TV with a Blu-Ray DVD player in the Family Room in 2011 for your enjoyment.
We replaced all of the mattresses in 2010 and we put in all new bedding to go along with the new mattresses.
The carpet was replaced in 4 bedrooms in the winter of 2010-2011 – this means every room has had the carpet replaced.
The hardwood floor was resanded and repaired in the winter of 2010-2011 to restore its original beauty.
Wireless internet setup (we put this in 2009 in response to guest requests).
A brand new gas grill is scheduled to be delivered in March 2012 (We replace the grill each season.)
A new pool table and a new high chair (now 2 available).
New toaster and other small appliances are replaced each year.
Updated pictures to enhance the décor.
In 2010 the exterior of the house was painted and although this won't necessarily add to your enjoyment it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining our home.

The entire inside of the house was repainted in the fall of 2006 with accent colors added in virtually every room. This makes every room much warmer.
